Hearing rumors that a Saiyan defeated Frieza, Bills tracks down this warrior, Goku, thanks to the Oracle Fish. On King Kai's planet with his ally, the mysterious Whis, Bills challenges Goku. Ecstatic over the new challenge, Goku ignores King Kai's advice and battles Bills, but he is overwhelmed and defeated. Bills then leaves, but his eerie remark of "Is there nobody on Earth more worthy to destroy…?" lingers on. Seeking for stronger warriors, Bills arrives on Earth. The Z Fighters and their friends are at Capsule Corporation, where Bulma's birthday party is held. Bills faces and easily defeats Z Fighters one after another: Android 18, Super Saiyan Gohan, Majin Buu, Vegeta, Vegeta seems to have met Bills before. While Bills fights with the Z Fighters on Earth, Whis eats sushi in a restaurant near Capsule Corporation. Later, Goku confronts Bills again and they have a battle in space, right above planet Earth.
